We strive to offer only the best natural ingredients for our products and work hard to use free-trade and sustainably-produced items whenever and wherever possible. Our ingredients and products are never tested on animals and are certified cruelty-free. Our vegan soaps are petroleum-free, detergent-free, and free from sulfates, parabens, and phthalates.

Dr. Woods supports a number of family and education-focused organizations that are dedicated to giving back to their communities and young people in need. While we often support many smaller organizations, we offer continued support to several organizations.

Starting with our Black Soap, Dr. Woods’ vision was to produce high quality skin care products sourced worldwide and made right here in the United States. Raw black soap is a unique all-vegetable soap product whose key ingredient is derived from plantain skins, a highly renewable natural resource. Harvested from the nut of the Karite tree, shea butter is indigenous to West Africa, specifically the African Savannah, from which our organic fair-trade shea butter comes.

Our product range includes liquid black soap, liquid castile soaps, liquid castile soaps with shea, bar soaps, face cleansers & pumps, and travel size items. Our products are highly rated by customers and are gentle on the skin, suitable for all skin types, and cruelty-free.

Our vegan soaps are petroleum-free, detergent-free, and free from sulfates, parabens, and phthalates. We offer various scents and options, with prices ranging from $15.74 to $21.02, with products suitable for the whole family and certified hypoallergenic by the Consumer Product Testing Company.
